As the upcoming winner of Eurovision Songcontest, I think Europe wants to do one thing at the end of the evening and that is embrace the music of Sanna Nielsen, that can’t be an International One Hit Wonder!
Sanna Nielsen starts her career as an 11 year old girl in 1996 with “Till en fågel”, a Number One at the “Svensktoppen”-chart
“Bilder i mitt album” was her second single and both were hits in Scandinavia.

“Min önskejul” was released in 1997 and is a Christmas album, an updated release followed in November 19, 2001 and contains the Single “Där bor en sång”

Her Eurovision Songcontest story begun with her first participation in the pre-selection called “Melodifestivalen
with “I Går, I Dag” in 2001 and become third.
2 years later a second try with “Hela Världen För Mig” and ends at place 5.
The next album is “Nara Mej Nara Dej” with 2005 singles “Vägen Hem”(cover of Eva Bruun Hansen & Marie Warme Otterstrom) and her third Melodifestivalen adventure with Fredrik Kempe “Du Och Jag Mot Världen” (they ends at 8th position) are on this.
“Rör Vid Min Själ” that is a swedish cover of the famous “You Raised Me Up” by Secret Garden (and very famous by Westlife) released in 2006.

After so many years with some singles that weren’t on an album. Sanna released a compilation with new-recorded songs, like “Loneliness” and “Surrender”. The album title references to that she recorded the songs when she was between the ages of 11 and 22, and the time there between is 11 years.
A few days before the release she released a new song “Vågar Du, Vågar Jag” that become 7th during the Melodifestivalen.

In 2009 she released benefit single “Rätt Kanal” as a dedication to the rats.

During the Christmas season. Sanna collaborate again with Shirley & Sonja with a new album “Vår Jul”
2 days after the release of the album, a title track become a single.
In 2011 I discovered Sanna with her incredible amazing wonderful excellent Melodifestivalen performance of “I’m In Love”.She ends up at the 4th position unfortunatelly.
Shortly afterward the single gets some remixes.
Than Nielsen released single “Can’t Stop Love Tonight”
Together with the 2 singles of the year before’, it’s on the album “I’m In Love”.
In 2012 she gets international, and appears on a German soundtrack about the legendary “Nils Holgersson”

She end the year in Christmas style once again with “Vinternatten”.

Then it become silence until Christmas and released her third solo-album for the Winter Season “Min jul”.
The 7th time she entered Melodifestivalen this year, was her biggest success so far. With “Undo”, a track by Fredrik Kempe, David Kreuger, and Hamed “K-One” Pirouzpanah. She is finally able to conquer Europe and released a wonderful EP with 4 beautiful tracks.
After the release of Undo EP, in April came “Undo The Remixes”.

I KNOW YOUR MUSIC FOR 3 YEARS NOW AND YOU MADE ENGELISH AND SWEDISH MUSIC. ARE YOU REALISING, WHEN YOU MAKE ENGLISH MUSIC YOU CAN EMBRACE THE WORLD AND NOT ONLY SCANDINAVIA?
Yes, I realize that. I love to sing in English but I also love to sing in Swedish. It is my language and that is what brought me in to the music business. So I really want to do both. Since a few years it has only been music In English though and it has been really fun to release my music to those who doesn’t speak Swedish.
IS THERE ANYTHING OUTSIDE SWEDEN HAPPENS WITH YOUR MUSIC SO FAR? I CAN IMAGINE “I’M IN LOVE” FOR INSTANCE MAKE SOME PLACES INTERESTED TO SEE YOU LIVE ON STAGE IN THEIR COUNTRY?
I know that other countries are playing my songs on the radio. Since a few years I have built my audience in Finland. I go over there approximately two times a year and I do my concerts there. It takes time to build an audience abroad but it is really nice when it works. I also got the opportunity to sing in Madrid for the Eurovision fans 2011 and that is a great memory!
TO PARTICIPATE IN MELODIFESTIVALEN AGAIN, CAN HAVE SEVERAL REASONS, WHAT ARE YOUR REASONS? ARE YOU GOING FOR BEING THE WINNER OF MELODIFESTIVALEN OR IS THAT NOT BIG ENOUGH AND DO YOU WANT TO BE THE NUMBER ONE OF EUROVISION SONGCONTEST?
Of course I would love to win the Swedish Melodifestivalen, but I also know that it can be great just to take part in this competition. It is the biggest event we have in Sweden and to be able to represent your music in that show is amazing.
WHICH MELODIFESTIVALENSONG YOU PARTICIPATE WITH IS YOUR FAVORITE AND WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SONG OF YOURSELF IN GENERAL?
I really want to say “Undo”. I am proud over all of my songs in Melodifestivalen, and this song represent me today.
Also Empty room in general is a favorite song that I will always love.
WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST INSPIRATION FOR YOUR MUSIC? DO YOU GOT ANY NAMES?
I listen to a lot of music and my number one favorite is Celine Dion. I love the way she sings and I sing to her songs most everyday.
I have also been listening a lot to Katy Perry. Love her voice!
WHICH ARTIST?GROUP ADMIRE YOU THE MOST?
Celine Dion is my favorite. I have seen her live twice. One in Las Vegas and one in Stockholm. She is an entertainer that really wants to give it all in front of her audience.

When I watched Celine Dion perform in Las Vegas at Caesers Palace 2007. It was amazing.
