MAGIC EVENTS : The Original High World Tour – Adam Lambert

Adam Lambert conquers in an enthusiastic friendly Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam during his “The Original High Worldtour”. The original support-act Jennie Lena was deleted yesterday and the G-Team announced they replacement her with making the crowd go dancing on famous hits from the past and beyond in their excellent mix. Adam Lambert is not the first big name that they support. Ke$ha, The Scissor Sisters, Icona Pop, Mika and Sam Sparro are one of the other names.

When the guys warm the crowd up, Adam took over. Not at 9 PM as planned and people get scared his is the new Madonna, who let the crowd wait more than one hour extra, but at 9.10 PM he rocks with “Evil In The Night”,”For Your Entertainment” and “Ghost Town”. 95 minutes of Glamrock entertainment featuring also Tears For Fears “Mad World”, available at his 2010 Album “Acoustic Live!”.

In the final he did the catchy “If I Had You”and he proves that he is the Queen with “Another One Bites The Dust”.

New in his show is his latest Single “Welcome To The Show” in a Solo-version.

No crap between the songs like most of the concerts, just only great live versions that sounds like Single edits with a very hard and loud electrobeat in most of the tracks.

In case you think Adam Lambert can slow it down, “For Your Entertainment”, he is in London at Eventim Apollo tomorrow and Saturday in Manchester Academy in Manchester. Than he travels to Russia to perform next Monday at Crocus Music Hall in Moscow 20 and Wednesday at Rock Cafe in Tallin (Estonia). Many concerts will follow as the tour ends June 25th in Anfiteatro Camerini, Piazzola Sul Brenta, Italy.

New Single : Kila Goti – Lady Bee

During a conversation about African artists, I mentioned Lady Bee last weekend and strangely the word “Kila” was discussed as well the day before yesterday. It was not in an African way as it means “Weirdo” in Asia and in Africa “Each”. Lady Bee got finally a follow-up after her first Single “John; 3 16”. She released a couple of weeks ago her Gospel Single “Kila Goti” (Each Knee) on YouTube and earlier this month on Spotify. Its her birthday. So watch her latest Single and purchase.

New Album : Pegam Na Mô – Dina Medina

Soon singer Dina Medina will release her New (4th) Album “Pegam Na Mô” (means Take My Hand) a combination of modern and traditional music from her parents Motherland Cape Verde.

In 2010 she released an Album, you can listen to at Spotify called “Mornamente”, with two track she did with The Metropole Orchestra “Ka No Saudade” and “Fidjo Maguado (Nha Terra)”. Another collaboration with the famous Fernando Lammeirinhas “Mata Saudade” is included. One of the other tracks is “Ka No Sepera”

One year later she did another duet with O-Day called “Engel Op Aarde”

In 2012 she was on five tracks of the Splash! Album “Celebra”, an album with also vocal contributions by Laise Sanches and Grace Evora.

She released last year an amazing duet with C.Duarte called “Porquê” on Single

If you like African music like this, you really need to listen to the upcoming music of Dina Medina, who works on the Album “Pegam Na Mô” with Paulo Bouwman (Guitar), Alessandro Russo (Sax), Toy Vieira (Keyboards), Stanley Clementina (Bass), Tuur Moens (Drums), Marco Santos (Percussion) and the incredible Backing Vocals of Melissa Fortes and Sonia Andrade.
